Why A Seminar?

It's a fact.  If stock market investors missed just ten (10) critical days in the market for the period of June 30, 1996 to June 30, 2001, they would have missed about 66% of the growth of the market.  Instead of a nearly 14.5% return, they would have realized just a 5% return.*

Missing a few key opportunities can have a tremendous impact on the bottom line.  That is why some strategists advocate "time in the market" rather than
"timing the market" when it comes to investing in stocks.

This principle can also hold true when offering ministry services to your congregation, especially when those services are as crucial and time sensitive as estate and major gift planning.

Your congregation is always experiencing change.  Lives are in flux.  The need to start or review an estate plan can appear overnight.  A business success, retirement, an illness, a graduation, a marriage, a death, an inheritance, a move can all create the need for estate and gift planning or at least a review.

The truth is that many in your congregation have no trusted counselor in these areas.  They have no one presenting estate and gift design from a Christian perspective.  Some don€t even think they have an "estate."  But, they are in need of, and usually open to, a quality service that offers them an opportunity to be the best Biblical stewards they can.

Through your partnership with UPCI Stewardship Department you will be offering that quality, Bible-based service to your congregation.  You will be there with the right answers when they ask, "What is God's plan of stewardship for my estate?"
